He utilised his Critical Behaviour Classes to work with hundreds of dogs with problematic behaviour.

He founded the London Dog Behaviour Company in 1999 and has worked with hundreds of dogs with problematic behaviour. His unique approach includes Critical Behaviour Classes, where dogs with behavioural issues are integrated into a group for training. Ross's extensive experience has allowed him to tackle an array of common and uncommon, normal and abnormal behaviours. While many may think he's seen it all, Ross knows there's always something new to learn.

Ethos

Dogs are wonderful creatures when trained, bred, and raised properly. But when things go wrong, they can be difficult to manage and even pose a risk. Our team can help you reform your dog's behaviour with the necessary knowledge, skills, and techniques. It ultimately depends on your desire and willingness to make the necessary changes. Let us assist you in transforming your problematic pooch into a well-behaved companion.

We use primarily reward based methods, but much in common with rearing children, dogs need consequences for actions – both rewarding and unrewarding. Our goal is to primarily improve the lifestyle of your dog and by default, your lifestyle will improve and you will enjoy an enhanced bond with your dog.

The Pack Experience

Ross has personally owned numerous breeds of dog quite literally from numerous Chihuahuas and Great Danes to all in between. German Shepherds have always been a part of his home and family. Currently, Ross owns Vhko a sixteen year old male, who like many of his dogs came as a welfare case dog – read more here.

Also Ross has a German Spitz (klein) female named Bh-li who came as an unexpected addition to him via a client who he was working with for a long time, read her story here.

His main passion is the working Rottweiler - several of which also share his West London home.

He competes with his Rottweilers in Working Trials, which is best described as Civilian Police Dog Training. Read more about his Rottweilers here.

All of Ross’s dogs are used as 'stooge dogs', so it is very likely that if you have a problem with your dogs aggression towards other dogs, you will meet one or some of them at your consultation.
